Hamilton Rentals Work in conjunction with Avnet to Promote the IBM Power & Storage Loan pool

Avnet highlighted the great Power and Storage loan pools available from Hamilton Rentals (In their November Avnet News letter), which provides the latest IBM Power and Storage equipment at zero cost.

This provides a great way to close off end-user opportunities in Q4. IBM’s Power and Storage Loan programmes managed by Hamilton Rentals provide effortless access to a constantly refreshed fleet of equipment, including:

• System p Servers - 1-way to 16-way
• NSeries NAS Storage
• DS Disc Storage (Fibre & SATA)
• SVC San Volume Controller
• Tape and SAN

Loans are available for an initial period of one month, funded by STG (subject to approval), but can be extended for periods from one week to one year, after the first free month.

Typical uses for the loan pool include benchmarking and testing, proof of concepts, evaluation and competitive ‘win back’ situations.

Hamilton Rentals will manage any loan enquiries, from supplying configurations, to arranging the necessary approvals within IBM and right through to delivering the equipment to your end-user.

Included in the service is the set up of the equipment, OS Load, IBM maintenance cover, delivery and collection. In addition to Loan Pool services Hamilton Rentals can offer flexible short or long-term rental on a wide range of multi-vendor equipment, including legacy IBM equipment.
